Kareena Kapoor offered a crore to do an item song

When Kareena Kapoor is in a song, it’s hard to take the eyes off her. The wonderful actress brings her own X factor to whatever she does: be it films, item song or cameos. She is undeniably charismatic in her own inimitable way and thus producers are willing to cast her even if she charges a bomb. Now, it’s heard that a known south producer, who has worked with Kareena before, has reportedly offered her Rs 1 crore to do an item song in his film.

Yes, you read it right, a crore for an item song. Apparently the makers of the film Isai have approached Kareena Kapoor to perform a special song. Filmmaker SJ Suryah who has worked with Kareena in the movie Khushi, and already knows her, wants her to do the item song. A source from the industry tells a tabloid, “Kareena is yet to confirm if she will be taking it up, nevertheless she has expressed a desire to listen to the song.”

The actress has achieved an envious body for her new item track Halkat Jawani to be featured in the movie Heroine. From size-zero to being curvilicious, she is the most-sought after actress in Bollywood and deserves what she asks for. No wonder, actress Freida Pinto admires Kareena Kapoor. In a recent interview to a magazine, Freida said, “In India, actually, there has been a large disparity in how much a female and male actor gets paid, but this year, one actress changed all that.” She credited Kareena for her feat.

Recently Kareena did a cameo in Rowdy Rathore and appeared in the song Chinta Ta Ta with Akshay Kumar. She even reprised her famous Chammak Challo step for the song, and jazzed up the fun track with her oomph. The response to her version of Chinta Ta Ta was overwhelming and the actress was lauded with praises. Source
